A Fresh Start for Hens

At Hallgate farm we're happy in the knowledge that when our amazing hens retire from service they go on live-out the rest of their natural lives in town, city and country gardens, allotments, schools and residential homes, as well as in the loving care of families across the region. Fresh Start For Hens are a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers dedicated to rehoming hens from the commercial sector. You don't need to have a big garden to keep a few hens, they will be grateful for the additional years of freedom you can offer them and reward you with their entertaining antics and probably an egg or two.
